Since Batiste grew exponentially in popularity, they have continually updated and released new products. Having loved the tropical one, I decided to give the Light and Blonde one a try seeing as my hair is blonde and sometimes the white can be difficult to rub out.
Light & Blonde smells pretty much like the original, which I don’t mind the scent of. I usually spray my hair quite liberally with dry shampoo seeing as I have the greasiest hair in the world, (well maybe not the world, but habitual hair twirling doesn’t help!) and I found that even after rubbing it, it gave my hair a yellow tinge and made my existing blonde hair look very yellow and brassy instead of blending in with my existing highlights.
All in all, I won’t be repurchasing this as I do prefer the smell of the tropical one, but the main thing I disliked was the fact it gave my hair a yellow tinge. It possibly would be more suitable for darker blondes and someone who has an all over colour rather than highlights. Therefore I’ll be sticking to my trusty tropical! 🙂
Batiste Light & Blonde Dry Shampoo can be purchased from supermarkets and drugstores for £3.99.
