the biology trip was actually alright although I’m exhausted and it seems like I’ve been away for like a week.
We went to Anglesey in Wales to the Conway centre.
We got there at 6pm on Thursday and had our tea and then started doing work till 10:30pm that night
Then we had to be down for breakfast at 8:30am on Friday and all we got was 1 slice of bacon and 2 hash browns
we went on a boat and I had a go at steering lol
Then we had our dinner and went to the lab and examined plankton and then went to some sand dunes and did something with quadrats seeing how much sand and marram grass there was in each one and I ended up losing my beret

we came home and had tea and then went and did more work in the lab till 10pm.
On saturday we had to be down for breakfast for 7:45!!! we were so shattered. They actually gave me a nice breakfast that day i got bacon and hash browns again but they gave me 4 slices of gluten free toast aha
Then we went to the beach and did some line transect thing and we had to scramble over rocks which were really slippy. Then the tide came in so we had our lunch and went for a drive to Puffin Island and then came back and went to the exposed shore. It was so cold that I wrapped up until you could only see my eyes lol
Every day though it was so cold so we ended up wearing about 6 layers and loads of socks. We also borrowed waterproofs from the centre which were purple so we ended up looking like a bunch of Ribena berries
our rooms were so cold we ended up having 2 duvets on the bed.
we finished earlier last night at 9:30 and went to go pack

I’m so shattered today I’m just gonna go to bed
