This month’s budget buy I stumbled on purely by chance. I was going to repurchase my much loved Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Cream Wash, but after wincing at the price – Ok I know £4.99 is not massively expensive in the grand scheme of things, but on that day I really didn’t feel like paying so much, – I quickly scanned the shelves for a more affordable alternative.
I then saw the Pro Formula Skin Brightening Face Wash at a more reasonable £2.50 and promptly put it in my basket. It contains salicylic acid to help keep skin clear and Vitamin C, grapefruit and cranberry to refresh the skin.
It’s quite similar to the Neutrogena one, not a dupe but an alternative if you will. It foams up quite nicely and my skin feels clean but not dry or stripped of oil which sometimes you can get with soapy cleansers.
It also has a pump which I always love. It’s so easy to use and definitely a lot quicker, especially when you’re all bleary eyed on these early dark mornings.
You know what? I really like this face wash, and I’m definitely going to be buying it again, in fact I might replace my Neutrogena one permanently. This does an equally good job and is half the price. I’d really recommend giving it a go if you’re looking for something cheap and cheerful.
