Products to make your skin glow

Creating natural glowing skin is something we all strive for and as we enter the dark cold months, it becomes ever more difficult to achieve as our skin becomes dry, tight and flaky. Therefore I’ve put together my favourite skincare products which I think helps nourish and create a radiant glowing complexion and banish dull dark circles without drying skin further.

One of the first things you should do to achieve radiant skin is regular exfoliation. Dead cells make your complexion dull, any serums, lotions and potions won’t be able to penetrate as effectively and they make your makeup look a little tired. A flannel will do a good job but I always feel a chemical exfoliant is something we should all have in our collection. I like the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads as they remove dead skin and brighten skin without being too harsh, meaning they can also be used daily!

I recently discovered the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer and despite the slightly off-putting scent (I think it personally smells like nit lotion…gross) I thought it worth including as it’s soothing and refreshing without drying the skin.

I’ve mentioned before in my review about how much I loved the REN Radiance Perfection Serum as it gives a lovely healthy glow that seems to radiate through my makeup.

A good eye cream is key to making your eyes seem brighter and faking that good night’s sleep. My absolute go to is Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream. I only cracked this out earlier in the year after receiving for Christmas, but I can definitely say without a doubt it’s fabulous. It’s slightly tinted which I think adds to the whole brightening effect but it definitely depuffs and refreshes my eyes.

An alternative, which is also worth mentioning is Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream. In my opinion it’s not as good as the Origins offering but it’s lightweight and refreshing.
