Recently I accidentally had a bit of a splurge at Illamasqua, and I say ‘accidentally’ as I only went over for some advice on contouring and came away with a lot more than I anticipated. One of the products I purchased was a powder eyeshadow called ‘Justify’.
When I went for some advice on contouring, the lady suggested Justify to me, which made me hesitate at first, I mean using an eyeshadow as a contour? but she applied it and it was perfect for my skin. Light enough that I didn’t have brown streaks all over my face and ashy enough not to make me look muddy.
Justify is described as being a ‘cool sandy brown’. It’s a lovely taupe colour, perfect if you’re looking for a wearable neutral for the daytime and is really matte.
I’d never tried any of Illamasqua’s eye shadows before but it is lovely and soft and super pigmented. You only need one swirl of the brush and you have more than enough product. This is great because I know it’s going to last for ages and it applied like a dream because it’s so soft. There’s also no fallout on this product too so I would even go as far as to say that it would give Urban Decay a run for its money as they are my favourite shadows, but this definitely is up there with them.
This is probably one of the most wearable and multi-functional products I’ve ever purchased and will definitely be repurchasing. I use it on my eyes as an eyeshadow, both as a base or in the crease. I also use it for contouring, both day and night and finally in my eyebrows.
Justify can be purchased from Illamasqua for £15.50
