I’ve been captivated by this liner for just over a year now, when a makeup artist demonstrated it to me and my friend on a shopping trip. Fast forward a year and it’s graced my mind many times, but with a 20% off discount code, I decided to take the plunge.
The Illamasqua Precision Gel liner is incredibly pigmented. It’s such a pure black colour which I love, and because it’s so pigmented you only need the tiniest amount so it will definitely last a long time. It’s also a very smooth eyeliner, it glides on so there’s no tugging at your eyes and because it’s so smooth and creamy it doesn’t flake or fade throughout the day so you don’t need to worry about it lasting. However despite the fact that it lasts the day without budging, it’s incredibly easy to remove, a good cleansing oil melts it right off.
The only slight negative point is the price. At £18 it’s a little on the pricey side and although I imagine the pot will last me a very long time (at least a year I imagine) I think I probably will only be buying this when there’s an offer or sale on.
I love this eyeliner so much, perhaps more so than my Mac Fluidline . I definitely think I’ll be repurchasing indefinitely -unless I find something that tops this- which I think will be very difficult indeed.
