UPDATE: 1 new article: Choosing the right foundation here
Hey guys,
I’ve no new updates at the moment I’ve not had a lot of time over the weekend plus there was the server upgrade at Bubble but I will be working on some this week.
In terms of the new layout I made significant progress over the weekend and I’ve got a tiny bit more to do on the layout and then code it and then it’s going to be put up so hopefully by the weekend!
I’m also going to be posting an excerpt from a story I’m writing. It’s nothing fancy and I’m not sure where it’s going yet but I like writing for fun.
The reason for the title? I’m excited because firstly my boss informed me there’s evening and weekend work for me if I want it. Having a job = having lots of cash which I need at the moment because I have to pay my parents £250 for my macbook which I owe them.
Also when I’m at university and I pay my rent it doesn’t leave a lot of money for me to live off and spend on myself so having money for that will be nice. But the biggest perk of having a job? My mum will finally let me have a car 
I’ve wanted a car ever since I started driving (incidentally it’s been 2 years since I passed my test so I am no longer a probationary driver) and I’m finally getting one in October 
And the final thing, I’m planning on a trip to New York for my 21st Birthday so having a job means I can fund that as well because I’m planning to stay in a nice hotel on Times Square (think Hilton) so I’m really excited for that. FYI i’m not 21 for another 18 months so it means I have plenty time to save.

OMG You’re getting me excited with your plans! LOL. That’s really the biggest perks of having a job. You getting cash. Ding ding ding.
My dad’s bugging me about taking driving class but I’m too lazy to look for one, and this isn’t really the right time to be learning how to drive.
OMG You’re going to NY? Lucky you. I wish I could go back. That’s a really nice plan! Staying in a fancy hotel with your own money. You can really say that you have achieved something because its your money that you used.

Wow man you are luckkkyyyy. All the things you can do with money! I cannot drive. My licence expired and I was just learning. My parents – well mostly my mum – didn’t have time to teach me so the three years the licence lasted for ended.
It makes me a bit sad but I don’t really care because I don’t need a car now. I’m glad you have something going towards your car since you now got offered weekend work. Congratulations!
My job is only two days a week so it’s nothing much, really. I wish I could work on weekends because I am not busy then. Then again some of my friends don’t have jobs at all even though some earn lots and work more – I should be happy with what I’ve got.
I really want to travel around as well but for one thing my parents won’t let me, and I’m not all that independent yet, yikes. D: Anyway, that’s probably something far down my list haha.
I can’t wait to see the new layout! As I said ages ago, I still love this one.
I love writing for fun as well but I put all my stories and stuff on a separate domain, I like it better that way.
I do want to publish a book but I’m not up for it yet right now. 
I tell a few offline friends that I blog. Mostly my close ones. I don’t mind them reading my blog, now it just becomes a part of daily conversation since most of us are computer geeks. :P I have loved expressing myself in writing, I also used to keep a diary when I was younger. So blogging is similar, just getting my voice out there to people. I like it.
I used Lilian’s Facebook to take a look at some people’s profiles… it’s pretty tempting and interesting, but I don’t think I’d even use an FB account if I got one. :P
Ohhhh I heard about St Trinians 2. Now I want to check it out to see how bad David Tennant looks in it. D: D:
Can’t wait for the new layout, I love seeing new layouts people put up! Having a job and earning money is always grand! I miss having a job as I’m currently jobless at the moment, but I guess I’m kind of considering it a vacation period, haha. I don’t know, just trying to remain optimistic.
A trip to New York sounds like sooo much fun. I really want to visit NYC so bad. My boyfriend doesn’t seem so excited about doing it, but I’ve talked to him about it. I’d like to save once I get a job again to do something like that because I think eventually I’d like to move there.
