Living In HallsThursday was the A level results day, not that that matters to me I got my results last year. Mine weren’t the best but I passed and got into my first choice university.

Anyway I wrote 5 articles about living in halls for the first time, so if you’re going to university this year, or perhaps next year give them a read.

“When living away from home, there are quite a lot of things you will need, even with just the basics, so it’s important to make a list of everything you will need.

Different accommodations will provide you with different essentials so it is important you check with them so that you don’t duplicate what they have already provided.”

In other news I got quite a shock, I’ve been a bit reckless this month with my spending on clothes and i’ve clocked up £376 on my credit card D:
I can pay it off but it’ll take all my money which I’m sorta bummed about, but there’s £69 worth of stuff going back (due to me not liking the style) so I’ll have £69 credit next month and if I’m really good this month (which i’ll have to be else I wont be able to afford my car) then the credit will pay my bill.

I lost another 2 lbs this week. I bought a dress from miss selfridge and I really wanted to buy the size smaller but it didn’t look nice even though it fit so I decided I was really going to get serious with my diet in order to shed the pounds before I go back to university and get the dress took in. It’s proof that weight watchers does work as long as you’re honest about how much you’re eating and your points allowance. I’ve got another 6lbs to lose before I move out in 3 weeks. I’ve taken up hula hooping as well. My waist is incredibly wide for my size (29 inches argh!) so I’m hula hooping to get my waist down.

I’ve not really had a lot of spare time, however I finish work full time on 3rd September which means I can update :) I’m still trying to tidy our house it’s an epic mess and trying to downsize is a nightmare! Hopefully though I’ll get a lot of it sorted before I move out

In other news I’m still working on the layout, I’m hoping to do a coded layout this weekend and get the story up, I haven’t written it yet but the idea’s there.

I’m finishing my last year of high school this up-coming school year, and i might apply for a school on the other side of Canada from where I live, so I’ll have to give the articles a good reading soon (: I’d be really afraid to move away from my family, but it also seems fun aha
ah, hopefully you can get that debt off your credit card and not have any problems aha. i really wouldn’t trust myself with a credit card, once i start shopping there’s no stopping me DX

When it comes to stories, I write something down when I get an idea. Admittedly I rarely feel inspired, though. I started a new “book” about a month ago and I’ve written about three chapters which I’m hugely proud of, but I’m kind of lacking how to fill it in. I have all the ideas, like you, but I don’t know how to get it all down yet.

Woooo I’m glad work finishes for you soon. Not only do you see how much you’ve earned over time but you get to have a good break after all that, and well deserved too. And no more jerks treating you like crap on the phone. ;D Oh and hopefully you can pay off what you owe too. That’s why I don’t use cards because I might spend too much. I was denied a credit card, though I have a debit card thing… but I avoid using it unless in an emergency.

My mum always has trouble losing weight but I think she isn’t trying the right methods. :( She’s always losing it and then gaining it all again. D: I do believe it’s possible if you try. Emmie lost a lot of weight this past month and I’m soooo happy for her :)

I don’t live in uni accommodation though it would be madass if I did. Apparently in the new housing, the wireless is crap, though. XD

YESSSSS that’s true, I heard that you guys had a hung parliament some time ago too. :| I don’t really give a shiz, though. Politics doesn’t really mean anything to me. I feel bad but I don’t think my opinions are really being put into thought by the government anyway. Dx

Haha yeah, I didn’t think the sticker was that great until my friend Lilian was jealous. :P

Yeah, my mum’s mostly mad about the money and time I wasted on my licence but I hope that when/if I get the licence renewed, I’ll be a kick ass driver and she won’t say shit. Miracle waiting to happen but oh well. XD

Most shops near me are close and I can catch public transport, so yeah. ^.^

Good luck with the layout! I started working on one of my own the other day, I’m really liking how mine’s turning out too.

It’s not so daunting to me when it comes to another website and making a new layout and all, but… you know me. :P

YAY for getting your first choice of university! That’s me too! I got into my first choice. I don’t really care if my marks aren’t the best, as long as I get in. We can always change it when we get to university/college :)

I really want to try living by myself or at least in a school residence, but I’m scared that I can’t handle it all. You know, homesickness and just being by myself. I don’t think I’m responsible enough for that kind of thing, LOL.

I didn’t know hula hooping can make you lose your weight! I should probably try that. I’m trying Tae-Bo and its kinda ok. But then again, right after I work out, I always find something to eat, so it’s kinda useless :( Plus, I don’t know how to hula-hoop. FAIL.

LOL. It was a shock for me too! I can’t believe I updated a lot! I was just trying to make up for the times when I was being lazy, now that summer’s about to end :S

I’m so glad I’m actually spreading the word! :) YEHEY!!!

Acoustics really give a different feel to the song. It just changes things a lot more!

That’s pretty helpful of you to write those articles! I’m sure it will help a lot of people. Not that I’m smart enough to get into university or anything. xD

That sucks about the credit card. I know how you feel though; when I started working, because I was getting paid weekly, I was spending it like straight away. Dx I’d buy so much junk just because I could… and knowing I would get more the following Friday.

Better start behaving with your money if you want to buy a car, though! :P

Congrats on losing another 2lbs! Funny how I’m trying to gain it and everyone around me is trying to lose it. xD Isn’t Miss Selfridge really expensive? o_O 29 inches that big is it? Mines 28 inches (I’ve put on an inch, woo!) and I only weigh 100 pounds? So 29 must be pretty small!

Good luck with the layout; I’m sure it’ll be amazing. ;D
