Black Label Belted Smart Stretch Chinos * – £30
Grey & White Checked Shirt – Tu Clothing
Navy Faux Suede Shoes – F&F Clothing
This is a slightly different post today in that I’m not the focus of this post, my boyfriend Harry is. Jacamo recently got in touch with a challenge to style my man with a few items from their new season collection and I thought it would be really fun challenge to do. I’ve always thought Jacamo was a brand marketed more towards tall men and plus size, but I was surprised and really pleased to see they cater for all men from size S – 5XL.
Harry and I browsed through their summer collection together, because although I was styling him, he still has to go out and wear the clothes so he definitely had a say! We were really impressed with the selection of clothes, in fact it was so hard to choose but in the end we picked a Joe Browns Denim Shirt, Black Label Belted Smart Stretch Chinos and Jacamo Bexar Wine Cargo Shorts.
We were both really impressed with the items when they arrived, in fact practically as soon as they arrived Harry went off gallivanting on a stag do with all his gear (he couldn’t wait to show off his new outfits to his mates which he got complimented on).
I absolutely love the Black Label Belted Stretch Chinos but I was a little worried about how snug they were. Harry has quite muscly legs and can’t really do ‘skinny’ styles as I’ve seen many a pair of trousers ripped but he said they felt quite roomy and the stretchiness of the material meant they weren’t straining.
Harry wears a lot of jeans when we go out so I think these are different and quite smart without being overdressed. I also love the colour too as I think they’ll go with anything so I paired this with his grey and white checked shirt from Tu Clothing and his suede shoes from F&F Clothing for a stylish evening look.
Joe Browns Denim Shirt * – £40
Not being a massive trendsetter, I was convinced he wouldn’t be keen on a denim shirt but he surprised me when he said he really liked the Joe Browns Denim Shirt. It has detailing on the shoulders and poppers instead of buttons for easy opening. I thought this could be dressed up or down so he went for a smarter look and had full length sleeves with the chinos and then threw it on over a t-shirt for a more casual look.

Jacamo Bexar Wine Cargo Shorts * – £25
The item I was most impressed with was the Jacamo Bexar Wine Cargo Shorts. They were Harry’s pick and I’m not a big fan of cargo shorts or the colour so I really wasn’t sure about them. You know sometimes when you’re shopping and you see something that looks horrendous on the hanger but when it’s actually tried on it looks completely different – that!
However once Harry tried them on I completely changed my mind and I think they suit him. These were actually perfect for the day we took the pictures because it was so warm and I teamed his shorts with his Chunk Star Wars T-Shirt and threw the denim shirt on over the top.
This was one of my favourite posts to put together, I really enjoyed styling and shooting Harry, in fact I’m much more comfortable behind the camera. I love the items we picked especially the chinos which I’m obsessed with and I will definitely be checking out Jacamo in the future if I’m looking for some new clothes for Harry.
