I originally went in Superdrug to buy the MUA eye primer on Sunday as I have been reading great things about it and it’s so much cheaper that the Urban decay primer potion.

I went into Superdrug but unfortunately they didn’t have any of the eye primer potion, but I did spot the heaven and earth palette, which I’ve also heard great things about. I was going to buy the eyeshadow trio as well, but I decided against it, I wish I had now as the colours were so nice and I’ve since seen great reviews.

I’ve been looking for a naked palette to wear during the day, and I was tempted by the urban decay one, but after hearing amazing things about MUA i thought I’d give this a go, and I wasn’t disappointed.

MUA Heaven & Earth Palette

The colours are well pigmented and they’re all shimmery but not too much that you can wear them in the day. There are a couple of colours I’ve not tried out yet and I am wondering if they will be a little too warm for my complexion but we will see. I definitely have a couple of favourites though so far, I do like the lighter shimmery ones and the warmer dark browns too.

It does come with a double ended eyeshadow sponge but I don’t think it’s useful in all honesty, it picks up a lot of product but doesn’t actually put a lot on the lids so I have been using a brush.

This is a swatch below on my arm with no primer so it’s pretty good. Overall I think this is a great cheaper version of the Naked Palette the colours are wearable, long lasting and really soft.
You can buy this at Superdrug for £4 which is amazing!

Have you tried any of MUA’s products?

I thought I would do a blog about my most used makeup items in my makeup bag

makeup bag

clockwise from top:
Vivo bronzer in sun kiss tesco (£3.50), Benetint cheek and lip tint (free), Laura mercier oil free primer Space NK (£28), Mac Matchmaster foundation in 1.5 Mac (£24.50), Benefit The porefessional Boots £23.50, Benefit Brows A Go-Go Boots (£26.50), Revlon Photoready powder Boots (£11.29), Nars blush orgasm Selfridges (£20.50)
No 7 makeup brushes for powder and blush, Go Foundation Brush, No 7 concealer brush, Mac 242 brush Mac (£19), Mac 217 brush Mac (£16), No 7 eyeshadow brush, Mac 209 brush Mac (£16), Bronzer brush
Center:
YSL Touche Eclat Boots (£25), Mac Studio Finish concealer in NC15 Mac (£13.50) , Mac Fluidline in Blacktrack Mac (£14.00), Maxfactor False Lash Effect mascara in Black Boots (£10.99)

The No 7 brushes came as a set I got for Christmas a couple of years ago and I cant remember the price or place I got the other couple of brushes. I realise I’ve already spent quite a lot of money on makeup and I do intend to spend more. Most of the products I’ve bought have been worth it and I would buy it again, the only products I probably wont buy again are the mac concealer and maybe the foundation, it’s not that they’re bad, I just want to see if I can find something better suited to me.

I suppose I should wish everyone Happy New Year! and also merry Christmas.

I hope everyone had a nice christmas, I got some nice presents including a new camera!! :)
I also got a few perfumes and some dvds.

I have made a few resolutions I found last years ones actually, and I managed to tick off a few, and a few I’m carrying on.
I was going to make a resolution to blog more, but I was thinking this morning, the reason I don’t blog anymore isnt because I dont have the time, it isnt entirely true as I do have a spare half an hour I can blog, but I don’t want to allocate that time to blogging, it isn’t a priority for me anymore, as is web design, I simply don’t want to do it anymore. I’m bored of it, I’m bored of my degree and I feel I dont know which direction to head in, but thats a story for another day.
So I have come to the conclusion that I probably will close this once the domain expires. Its sad but there’s no point wasting money. I may blog in upcoming months, but if you want to keep in touch with what i’m up to, follow my twitter.

I decided to buy a few things from the Jack Wills sale, as they’re ordinarily really expensive and even with the sale I still ended up spending £162!!
I bought some loungepants, a hoodie and a gilet. I originally was only going to get the loungepants and the gilet but i fell in love with the hoodie.

Hey there
I guess it’s been a while, I’ve been busy with uni and work and I’ve been ill so this is only a very short blog but I thought I would blog about one of my beauty staples

Batiste Dry Shampoo.
This is literally a life saver, when I cant be bothered washing my hair this stuff comes to the rescue and makes my hair look fresh and clean again and it smells awesome too. It’s also really great for giving texture to your hair if you want to backcomb your hair and get volume for example. The other great thing about this is the price, it’s really not too expensive at all, which is great as I go through tons of this stuff!

Theyve brought out lots of new scents and types of this product now, as when I started there were only 3 types. The tropical one remains my favourite at the moment though. I haven’t tried the new ones but I have tried the original and blush, both I wasn’t fond of the smell but I might try the volume one next time.

cardigan: New Look
scarf: vintage
top: River Island
skirt: Topshop
bracelets: New Look

Hey guys, I’ve been busy this week with freshers starting again, and then uni, I had to organise my final year project which is worth 1/3 of my degree and things have been majorly hectic with trying to timetable my life.
However this is my first look, still unsure of where I’m going to place myself in future images, but this is the first look hope you guys like. I’ve had the majority of the clothes I’m wearing in this picture for quite some time so you won’t be able to get these unfortunately. However I’ve bought the skirt quite recently.
