10 Useful WordPress Plugins
While browsing the web I’ve found many articles like this worth reading as it gave me ideas for plugins I’d not heard of but might be useful to use on my own site.
Acronyms

Auto Close Comments, Pingbacks and Trackbacks
This nifty little plugin allows you to set a time limit on how long comments can be open on a blog so that you don’t get spammers commenting on older blog posts. Visit Plugin’s Site
Breadcrumb Navigation xt
With the help of this plugin you only need to put a snippet of code in your theme template and it creates a complete breadcrumb navigation like mine above. Visit Plugin’s Site
Broken Link Checker
This plugin is quite handy as it checks all the links on your site and displays the broken ones for you to see. The only thing is it displays any broken links from websites from any past commentators, which can be annoying. Visit Plugin’s Site
Cforms
Cforms is a simple plugin which enables you to create multiple forms on your site which can be styled easily. Visit Plugin’s Site
Exec PHP
This plugin enables you to put php code in your widgets, posts and pages which is handy if you’re trying to display it for your visitors in a tutorial for example. Visit Plugin’s Site
Live Comment Preview
This enables users to see their comment underneath as they’re typing it. Visit Plugin’s Site
Recent Changes
This is like the recently updated plugin but has the option to just display recently updated pages rather than posts as well. Visit Plugin’s Site
Tweetable
This allows you to tweet from your dashboard and put a widget on your sidebar of your Twitter updates. Visit Plugin’s Site
WP User Online
This one is pretty common but it’s one of my favourites all the same. It lets you see how many visitors you have on your site including their IP addresses and if they are users or bots. Also if someone has commented before then it will display their name. It also shows you what page of your site they are on. Visit Plugin’s Site
