Batiste 2-in-1 Invisible Dry Shampoo and Conditioner – £4.49
I’m a big fan of Batiste dry shampoos. In fact the Tropical scent is a staple on my dressing table and I couldn’t bear to be without it. So when I was browsing the haircare aisle of Tesco, I noticed their newest product Batiste 2-in-1 Invisible Dry Shampoo and Conditioner was on offer so I immediately picked it up.
The next day, armed with my unwashed hair I decided to try it out, and well…it was a bit of a disaster really.
I sprayed it lightly on my roots at first (knowing how with Batiste a little goes a long way), but I didn’t notice a difference. I wondered if it was a bit like the Colab dry shampoos (which are fab but I go through so much trying to soak up the oil) so I sprayed on more and more, but it didn’t seem to be doing much for my oily roots.
Not having any alternative dry shampoos and 20 minutes before I had to leave the house I put it down to a bad experience and combed some talc through my hair.
A couple of days later I decided to give it another go, spraying noticeably more than the previous time and it was then I noticed that my roots were actually looking greasier than before.
Its only redeeming quality is it smells nice, other than that this is an absolutely useless product and I’m really disappointed. I’d say definitely pass on this product, I’ll be sticking to my trusty Tropical in future.
