*no mascara or falsies worn!!!

I’ve heard great things about the Shu Uemura curlers for a long time, but recoiled at the expense. However, I eventually took the plunge and purchased them a few weeks ago. I’ve been giving them a go and I have to say I have fallen in love with them.

The curlers come in two colours, silver and limited edition gold and come in a small cardboard box. They also come with a replacement pad as well so you don’t have to be rushing out when it needs replacing.

The curlers are lovely and gentle, not hurting or tugging at your lashes. It also doesn’t crimp or kink your lashes giving a lovely curl, looking like you’ve applied mascara when you haven’t.

As I’ve only had the curlers a couple of weeks I can’t judge on the durability of the pad, but they are meant to last up to a year and some even longer! so at least if you are cringing a bit at the price then be comforted that the pad won’t be worn out in weeks, or even months!

The only drawback I have with these curlers is that they catch the skin on the inner corner of my eye so I have to be really careful when using them. I don’t know whether that’s due to my eye shape or whether its just improper application?
Have you guys noticed that?

Overall they’re pricey yes and they do catch my skin if I’m not careful but if you are looking for a decent pair of eyelash curlers, then I’d say you should definitely splurge and if you’re not sure look at the pictures above!

Shu Uemura eyelash curlers can be purchased for £20.
