This was the easiest and quickest wishlist I’ve ever put together, which I think is down to my sudden renewal of interest in general skincare. I think I go through phases where I become quite obsessed with a certain category of beauty. Anyway this wishlist is good for my blog but certainly not good for my purse, especially as when I was looking up these products I noticed two were on sale. My hand is quivering over my mouse as you read this, dying to press ‘add to basket’ but knowing I really should be saving for a holiday.
1. Caudalie SOS Thirst Quenching Serum
I have a tiny tube of this and I love it. It is on sale at the moment, which made me want to pick it up, but having googled the French price and converted to £GBP it’s over £10 cheaper in France (say what!!!!!) Deffo going to Paris now.
2. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
I had a small bottle of this a few months ago which came in a Glossybox and I really liked this product. I’ve since run out and never bothered to replace it, but it’s been at the back of my mind ever since. Although it is essentially olive oil and I could go to tesco and probably buy a bottle for 3 quid, it just wouldn’t feel the same. The thing I loved about this product is that it was fantastic for slapping on your face before you got in the shower. It removed all traces of makeup so you didn’t have panda eyes when you got out and there was no faffing about with cotton wool and bottles, you slapped it on rubbed it in (eyes and all!) and hopped in the shower. It’s on sale at the moment. I can’t promise this won’t be popping on my desk in the near future.
3. Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
Originally I was unfazed by this mask, as I didn’t really think it would be applicable to my skin type. However since giving my skin regular intensive moisturising sessions, it’s been healthier and more balanced, which makes me think this could be the one for a Sunday night intensive boost.
4. Origins Modern Friction
I tried a sample of this a few months back and I have to admit I do love this product, but at £33 I just can’t quite bring myself to part with so much and I find myself holding onto my card a little tighter than necessary.
5. Alpha-H Liquid Gold
You’ve probably heard all about this and if you’ve tried it you lucky people! I desperately want to give this a go but again looking at it results the same reaction as the Modern Friction. However I’m thinking this could be a birthday purchase? perhaps?
6. La Roche Posay Rosaliac UV Legere Fortifying Anti-Redness Moisturiser
I have quite red skin in some areas of my face, especially around my nose. Rather than caking myself in green tinted primers and the sort, I thought this could be the answer to my problems. I am coming to the end of my moisturisers but I’m hoping I can make them last until I go to Paris and I can pick up some of these bad boys cheaper.
Have you ever tried any of these products?
