Hi everyone, I’ve finally got the internet working, our internet’s been out since Friday.
As you all know i moved in on Friday and at first it was so daunting having to live totally on your own and I got really upset, then I heard someone moving in (i was the first one in my flat to move in) and I’m sat on the bed thinking I should introduce myself so I eventually pluck up the courage to go in the kitchen and theres a girl there and I introduce myself but it turns out to be my roomates sister.
So i’m like “Hi, I’m Kat” and my roomate George was putting something in the cupboard and turns to face me and is like “Hi i’m George” and i’m like O.O HOLY FUCK HE IS FUCKING HOT! so I’m instantly like *thank you god!* and cheered up at the fact he is SMOKIN HOT! and so we talked all afternoon learning about each other. So basically I’m smitten so much with him and we’re always having a banter about things and he always turns things into your mum jokes, but he makes me giggle.
Then my other roomates moved in as well, Daisy and Rachel who are sooo nice.
Then on Saturday Toby moved in and today we’ve had Alfie except he’s anti social we havent seen him at all.
George and Toby are almost 20 so theyre older than me but I’m not sure about the rest
I also had a check in today which was a bit shit but i met this nice girl called Debbie so she’s my new course mate hehe.
So last night was the army party at Birdcage in Manchester and we all got ready. Me, George and Callaghan went into town to get some camo gear coz i had nothing and I showed them round Manchester because theyre both from Loughborough. Then their friend Jack moved in.
So we all got ready for the army party and George didn’t have any warpaint so we went in his bathroom and he took some from my face to put on his face. Then everyone had booked a taxi and there werent enough room for me and Toby and it was 10pm and the last entry was at 10.30pm so we were like FUCK so me and Toby called a taxi firm and they got us a cab dead quick and then it ended up that there werent enough room in George’s minibus for George, Jack and Callaghan so they had to steal someone’s taxi.
The army party was sooo good, we were dancing all night to the music and even got a bit of bumping and grinding 
and Basement Jaxx played and then about 1am Jack was dead on his feet so me, Toby, Jack and Callaghan got a taxi home and went to Jack’s for a cuppa and talked for a bit before going to bed at like 3am. Then Daisy was making noodles so I went chatting to her for a bit.
It’s been so crazy this last few days but it’s been so fun as well.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I can’t wait till I’m in college, which is like next year, hello indipence, goodbye nagging from mom. Hehe.
It sounds like although youre nervous to be living on your own and having to meet all new people, you are going to have a BLAST living there and going to university. FOR SURE!
Ive already done two years of university living at home, now im taking a year off, but by april I will probably move away to go to university elsewhere, and hopefully live alone. I cant wait.

I only got my internet today. There’s a dead long annoying registration process that we have to go through to get it.
Sounds like you’ve got a good mix in your flat. We’ve got an anti-social person like you as well. We call her mysterious girl and one of the guys in our flat made up a song about her.. lol.
“Ooooh, mysterious girl, we want to meet you.. I stop and stare at your cupboard, it is labelled ‘C’…” – Yeah he’s pretty insane.
We didn’t see mysterious ‘C’ girl for ages when she moved in though. She’s quite a bit older than us so maybe she finds it hard. She’s 23 and the rest of us are 18 or just turning 19.
Haha, the pictures look good. Don’t you think uni nights out are so random? lol. My friends that I go out with are such an odd mix so everywhere we go it’s so good!
Also, almost everyone I meet is from Essex! What’s that about?! ha. Out of my group of friends 3 are from Essex, 1′s from Kent, 1′s from Germany and then there’s me. lol. I just keep pretending I’m from Essex too. :P lol.
I love the adverts you get for the Birdcage as you walk into the Arndale, with the manly Spice Girls thing :’)
