I’ve actually done a lot of updates (well for me anyways) but i’ve yet to upload them so i’ll just tell you what i’ve done so far

I wasn’t sure what to blog about so I decided to do an article on this TV Show I’ve recently become addicted to. It’s been out in the US for a while now but only recently started airing in the UK.
True Blood is about Vampires which now co-exist amongst people since a Japanese invention called Tru Blood (a synthetic blood) enabled them to live peacefully. True Blood is centered around a small town in Louisiana called Bon Temps where a woman named Sookie Stackhouse who is a telepath and a waitress at a bar called Merlotte’s falls in love with a vampire named Bill Compton who has recently returned to Bon Temps.
The pilot starts with two teenagers, a little drunk, asking a clerk about tru blood and who buys it at the convenience store. There is a twist (which I wont reveal) and then the show moves on to when vampire Bill Compton shows up at the diner and Sookie is the only one who’ll go and talk to him.
The rest of the episode shows a murder mystery involving a local “fangbanger” (a human who has sex with vampires) and Sookie’s brother Jason is the prime suspect. The mystery unravels as the series progresses to reveal more unexpected twists and shocks.
Don’t be fooled though! True Blood is NOTHING like Twilight, it is harder, grittier, gorier and a lot more adult. Even in the first episode you can see why it is rated an 18 (R Rated for you lot in the US) with graphic violence, swearing, an assault and rough sexual scenes that could only be deemed almost pornographic. However it’s much more sharp and exciting with it’s cliffhangers, mystery and its twists throughout the series.
True blood is original, dark, entertaining and well written, keeping you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. I’m already on the second season which is turning out to be more exciting than the first
If you like: Buffy, Twilight, or you’re just interested you should definitely watch this although I really don’t recommend it for anyone at least under 16. It is rated an 18 for a reason and I don’t think it’s suitable tbh. Sorry kids

Last week I watched My Bloody Valentine in 3D at the cinema. It was the first time I went to an 18 rated movie and they didnt even asked for my lisence….

I’ve heard about True Blood in some other people’s blogs and it sounds really interesting.
It reminds me of Twilight but I guess it’s not since you said it more adult and all. I want to see it hehe.
Psh I’m 15 but I’ll be 16 in November.. so I can watch it.. PFFT.

And I totally agree if your visitors under 18 shouldn’t watch it! The sex scenes in the first episode were already kinda hard – for kids xD

I actually heard alot of good things about this, so I was going to watch it anyway. But now that you’ve explained it and shown me the trailer it’s a definate watch! It’s looks really good. Even my boyfriend said so because he’s sat next to me reading and watching, lol.
I was totally addicted to Buffy (I have all of the DVD’s) so I hope I will like this too.
I’ve never watched True Blood but I heard people talking about it. Seriously, that trailer made me want to watch more. I am pretty scared of that sort of shit though. D:

Spaghetti with to much cheese is gross. My mum makes better spaghetti; she doesn’t put the cheese in but lets us sprinkle it on top when the beef sauce is ready so we don’t get so much. :P

True Blood sounds a little more up my alley than Twilight, but I dunno if I can handle any more vampires…. they’re everywhere! Seriously, I don’t watch tv unless I have a bag of garlic next to me.
I wouldn’t watch True Blood. I’m going to buy the book. I can’t do R rated violence and gore :P It’s obviously nothing like Twilight. Twilight is teen fluff about dazzling vampires.
Ugh same – cleaning is soo annoying. I was really annoyed about the shot glasses – tacky plastic and multicoloured but my friend had picked up a load before I could say anything.

Heard from a blogger that it’s a great movie. Well, I love to watch the movie, but I just turned 16 last May and I don’t know if Mom would allow me to watch this one. And this movie sounds a little bit creepy for me
I know yeah, I wasn’t really bothered abut my GCSEs to be honest, but these… I just really need to get the grades lol. I’ve actually got all my fingers crossed! :P

A friend told me about True Blood. But I really haven’t got into it >> vampire series. I like Buffy, and Angel..and then the random vampire movies like “The Lost Boys” <- a classic! you should watch it
I haven’t given True Blood a chance yet, maybe it’s cos I can’t be bothered to try and catch up with all the episodes… but I don’t know if I’ll enjoy it. Everyone else seems to be enjoying it though xD Hmm maybe I’ll watch an episode tommorow and see if I get hooked ^^

True Blood sounds really good. I like stuff with vampires in, but Twilight just kills it (it has no plot and the only reason I like the film is because of Robert Pattinson) so something that brings the ‘vampireness’ back into vampires is good.
I’m not watching True Blood though, I think I should do though. It’s probably too late to get into it, but from what I’ve heard from about 100 people on Twitter it’s a good series haha.

I have to admit, True Blood sounds interesting, but overrated. Maybe because I haven’t seen it.. I shouldn’t judge really. :P From what you’ve said it does sound good, though.
