Hey everyone I’m back and finally ready to update. So as you know I have been working down south with my cousin at her place for the last two weeks and she has a bit of a rubbish internet connection so I’ve not really had chance to get on here.
Thanks to affiliates who haven’t deleted me
I had a really good time down there I enjoyed working even though it was so tiring. Some days were a bit slow admittedly as I was making goody bags a lot of the time and when you’re doing that for days on end it gets boring. I did some counting card as well and some picking and putting in jiffy bags. I didn’t mind picking to be honest but good bags were a nightmare. All the stuff I did though is gonna be sold on QVC shopping channel LMAO and I did Christmas stuff as well, I know we’re only in September.
While I was there though I did some shopping and bought a dress and the assistant said to me
“you know you’ll need your receipt if you want to return the dress”
I’m like *looks at my cousin* “oooook?”
I thought it was such a weird thing to say but when I got home and got the dress out it was all ripped on the hem I was like OMG!!!
so I took the dress and exchanged it for another one. Also while I was there a top I’ve only had for a month had got a hole in it!!!! so my mum sent me the receipt for it and I got a refund for it even though I’d worn it.
So I got home on Saturday and it was my friends birthday party so I had to be out for that. Her party was a bit of a washout to be honest. She had a BBQ at her house and there wasnt a lot of food, I had a sausage and a vegetable kebab and some cheese straws. Then there was some chicken for us and I took a bite and it was raw in the middle!!!! so I spat it out and didn’t eat anything else until the cake which was sooooo nice.
One of my friends who came to the party brought her boyfriend along, who’s 17 and he brought a friend who’s 20 (and a complete sleaze!) Anyway when we started on the pub crawl we got ID’d and we all got in apart from my friend’s boyfriend (because he’s 17) and his friend who hadn’t brought ID.
Who doesn’t bring ID when they’re going out to places where there’s an 85% chance you’ll get ID’d.
So we were getting annoyed because my friend was so torn, she wanted to come party with us but she didn’t want to leave her boyfriend as well and she in turn was getting pissed off at him and the fact he’d brought this friend she doesn’t like.
So in the end we didnt really go to many places and my friend had an argument with her boyfriend and stormed off. I felt so sorry for her and I rang her to make sure she was ok. Then it was 1am and I was so tired from travelling so I decided to go home.
the reason for the title? I watched Wuthering Heights yesterday that my mum had taped from last weekend and I thought it was really good, I think I got it, I’ve not read the book yet so I think this will have helped. I like watching adaptations before reading the book it makes for easier reading.
So I’m gonna update today loads hopefully, a lot of people have gone back to school now. I move out on 18th September and my classes start on 28th

Yay, you’re back. It’s good that you enjoyed working down there.
lol.
God I hate it when people go out without ID. I take mine everywhere with me just in case. (I’m aware I only look about 12 lol) Some of my friends don’t bother though and you can guarantee if they haven’t got it with them they’ll need it. Always the way.
Not long til uni now. Are you looking forward to it yet? I went on that yougo website and met quite a few people.
Some of them seem a bit odd though, but I guess I should expect that with drama students, haha!
Oh my god, just over a week. I move out on the 19th.
Hopefully it’ll be worth it.
I know what you mean! Doing the same thing over and over again can get boring. The first time is always interesting though.
It was ripped? Thank goodness you still have the receipt for the dress and the shirt! How did the shirt get a hole anyways? And it’s only been a month too.
I don’t really like it when uninvited people come to a party. Even though they are our friends’ friends. LOL. I think it’s kinda rude since no one really knows the person.
Hey, glad you are back finally!!
Yeah, the movie was really nice, I enjoyed it a looot! But you’re right – you definitely need a shoulder to cry on :P
Ohh, thats stupid with your friends boyfriend… Nobody had a nice evening then.. Not your friend and not her boyfriend… too bad…
Kisses Kristin
Heey! Glad that you’re back as well. I’ve missed talking to ya. Yeah the soccer game and whole vacation was pretty awesome.
The hairy german men were pretty disturbing though. D: And yeah that guy who wouldn’t move his damn head in the video I was going to slap him across the back of his head but I held back.
Glad to hear that you had a nice time as well.
Omg that really sucks about the dress and then the top! D: Ahh, everything was getting destroyed lmao. Good thing your mom was able to get you the refund though.
You always have some really funny drunk party/pub story to tell. LOL. It’s really stupid not to bring an ID when you go to a place where you know that they’re going to ask for it *DUHH* I’m 15 and even I know that LMAO.
Glad you enjoyed Wuthering Heights. (:
That’s okay (:
Thanks, yeah I hope it gets better soon too!
That’s actually kinda bad that she didn’t just point out that your dress was ripped. It would probably have saved you a lot of time if she did!
Pity about the trouble you had with IDs. It must really spoil a night when a couple of you can’t get in.
Anyway, how are you?
Haha that’s alright! And thank you!
Aw, my dad takes tablets as well. I guess that’s a good thing for both our parents because I hear that it’s a bit harder for some people to keep cholesterol down simply with a diet.
Haha I quite pepperoni, but I usually pick it off and eat it without eating the actually pizza lmao. Sometimes there’s way too much cheese!
Oh! I quite like KFC – not too often though. I really like their Popcorn chicken.
Thank you! _>
I haven’t read Wuthering Heights but I know it’s super good! :P
DAMN part of my comment cut off, FFS…. here it is:
Aw, sorry to hear it was so tiring and hectic down there. I hope you still had a good time.
I would have been tempted to take the stuff in the goodie bags… LOL.
That person at the shop should have told you about the dress, geeze! It would be nice to tell something like that to the customer. Must have been a big shock seeing the state of the dress after you bought it. That’s the good thing about keep receipts; my parents do it all the time hahaha.
I’m sorry about your friend’s party being washed out. Perhaps the planning and organising didn’t go too well. At least the cake was good even if the chicken was crappy!
I hope your other friend’s alright. I guess it does get awkward for you when your friend and her boyfriend have like an argument in front of everyone… haha. Once James and I had a big argument and everyone was so quiet after that.
I haven’t read Wuthering Heights but I know it’s super good! :P
I really like this layout! xD
Although I am wondering why the comment text is super duper gigantic? lol. I was like.. WHOA, that’s big!
I really like the little quote on the layout.
I find it strange that the assistant made a comment about the receipt but wasnt nice enough to simply state that the dress was messed up…. i mean, what’s up with that?!? Or maybe it was just very obvious, and you looked like the strange one. :-P
Hi, Kat! =)
Welcome back! We never talked but I started following you twitter yesterday or the day before (I’m @diamondmystical).
Oh my freaking gosh. A ripped dress. That’s just.. scary! D: I always keep the receipts and it’s good that you kept yours for the dress! I mean, who’d have known what would happen!?
Having such an argument in front quite a lot of people seems kind of… funny in a bad way. Like, awkward. Because at such parties gossip tends to be kept throwing out and about! D: But I hope everything gets along well now! D:
