If you’re a regular blogger or blog follower, then this won’t be a new post to you. This concealer has been circulating the blogosphere of late being hailed as a really great product. I’d used collection 2000 in the past when I was much younger and could only afford cheaper makeup and I hadn’t really gone back until I’d heard that this was actually a wonder product.
So a few weeks ago, I decided to get my mum to grab this for me in Fair as I was working.
It has a doe foot applicator which contains about enough product to do all the blemishes on your face.
Its creamy and quite blendable so it’s easy to blob a bit on your blemish and blend with a brush. It’s also really good for under eye circles too without dragging the delicate skin around the eye area.
It does have a bit of a weird smell I think, a bit like emulsion paint but it’s not too bad. Also like many bloggers have commented, the writing on the tube does come off, although I don’t think it’s transferred too badly in all honesty, I’ve had mine for 2 or 3 weeks now and its barely come off so I don’t know!
It also doesn’t last 16 hours as claimed on the tube but I would say it lasts at least about 6 or 7 hours around the chin area on me which is great as I do tend to wipe my mouth and put my hands there a lot…may explain some things.
Overall though I honestly think this is one of the best concealers I’ve used. It’s pretty popular with bloggers for a reason, because it’s a great concealer and not too expensive. It does have a bit of a funny smell and doesn’t quite last 16 hours but if you can put up with that it’s definitely one to consider purely because it’s so good for the price. I definitely will be adding this to my collection of permanents.
