I received this in June’s Glossybox, and was already excited to try out Dermalogica products as I have been wanting to for so long.
The kit comprises of a cleansing wash, a purifying toner and a mattifying moisturiser. Both the cleanser and toner contain salicylic acid, which is great for oily blemish prone skin.
I love the wash, it has stopped breakouts and it doesn’t make my skin too dry and its great for sensitive skin too. It also has a lovely smell of orange/grapefruit which is refreshing. The gel is quite thick however and I do find it hard to foam up but it doesn’t bother me overall as I love the results of using the product.
The toner is very refreshing, however the smell is a bit harsh and reminds me a bit of lemon bathroom cleaner.
The moisturiser is also great and has a lovely smell of cola. It moisturises and mattifies without making my skin feel greasy. However I do find it quite runny so you do have to be careful not to use too much.
Overall I’m really impressed with this kit, I probably won’t buy the full size toner but I will definitely be buying the full size cleanser and I’m considering the same with the moisturiser.
