Docteur Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream – £24.95
Now you might have seen me mention this a couple of times on my blog, but I’ve never done a complete review of it, so here goes nothing!
Docteur Renaud Raspberry soft cream contains organic raspberry extracts and claims to fight against dehydration on all fronts ensuring your skin is hydrated, comfortable and soft immediately and lasting throughout the day.
The things I love about this moisturiser, aside from that it is fantastic at rehydrating my skin (thus living up to the above claims) is that the texture of the cream is so light, soft and silky, which makes it a dream to apply as it smooths over your skin so easily. It doesn’t feel thick or really heavy like I normally associate with such luxurious creams. It also smells absolutely divine due to the raspberry extract but it’s not an overpowering or artificial scent so it’s a real pleasure to put on.
The only real issue- and when I say issue it’s more of a non-issue – is that it can take a little longer than lighter moisturisers to sink in and it’s very nourishing so I tend to apply this at night to give my skin a real boost. I think as well if I applied this in the day, my makeup would slide off as I do tend to wake up with quite oily skin, but despite it making it quite oily it doesn’t cause breakouts *cue huge sigh of relief*
In the morning after using this my skin feels so soft and supple so it does such a great job of giving my skin the hydration it needs.
Although I do love this product it lives up to it’s claims and it’s a dream to apply, I have to take issue with the price so I’m not sure whether I can justify repurchasing for £24.95 and I might have to look for a cheaper alternative.
Dr Renaud Raspberry Soft Cream can be purchased from their website for £24.95 for 50ml
