Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Face Mask Review

Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Face Mask
Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Face Mask – £5.99

Good Things are a brand I’ve been excited about trying for a while now. I love their packaging and that they’re have no nasties in but are affordable products.

I perused their selection and opted for the Manuka Honey radiance face mask as I was aware of the amazing properties of Manuka Honey and I didn’t seem to have a radiance face mask in my current collection. It contains Beeswax and white clay to draw out impurities as well as Manuka Honey to hydrate and papaya extract to enhance the skin’s natural glow.

Through use of the Origins and Superfacialist range I naively thought my skin had calmed down since my teenage years and become a little more resilient. However to my disappointment it hasn’t.

It’s quite a thick cream when you squeeze it out and it smells so lovely, it’s definitely one of it’s plus points!
Upon applying the mask I found my skin to be quite tingly. I know now obviously that this was due to the fact my skin didn’t agree with the mask but at the time I thought it was normal as my Origins Clear Improvement mask has a similar warming effect.

After washing off the mask my skin was more red than radiant, in fact the redness lasted for some time afterwards. Once the redness had subsided my skin was brighter and more radiant so it does work but obviously at the expense of having irritated skin.

I did think perhaps it was a bit of a fluke seeing as I was having a hot bath, but alas I tried it again and the same thing happened.

I’m really disappointed in this product, of course it’s not due to the product itself I would definitely recommend it, but it’s just not suitable for my sensitive skin. I will however be trying more products in their range to see how they fare.
