L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara – £8.99
I’ve had this mascara for well over a month now and I’ve been using it daily, yet I still found it a struggle to write this post. Why do you ask? because it’s one of those products that I wasn’t sure about. I’m decidedly on the fence about this mascara, although I’m leaning towards the liking side and here’s why.
First of all, I hate the name of the mascara, it seems so childish, something a kid would wear but that’s just me. I definitely wouldn’t have picked it up had I not received this in a beauty box.
The other thing I hate about this mascara, aside from the name is that the formula is so wet! It’s drying up a little now after about 5 weeks or so which is making it more bearable but for the first few weeks of use I couldn’t apply it without needing to clean up my eyes with remover afterwards which is incredibly frustrating.
That being said it does have a few redeeming features. I do like the wand, it’s quite novel actually as it’s really bendy and cone shaped so I can get to those baby lashes in the inner corners really easily.
It’s a true black shade which is good and it seems to coat my lashes fairly evenly so I have long black lashes. It gives quite good volume too. I would only say it needs one coat however as a second coat made them clumpy and spidery which is not what anyone wants!
Overall I do like the mascara it’s pretty good once the formula dries out a little but I don’t think I would repurchase with my own money, it’s not made enough of an impression on me.
