Revlon Lip Butters hit the shelves in March 2012 and there’s been a lot of chatter about them. I picked my first couple up back in 2012 and I have to admit I love them. They add a slick of colour when sometimes a lipstick feels just too formal, it’s like wearing a lipbalm but with more colour.
A couple of weeks ago I decided to pick up Candy Apple, which is a nice warm red colour. It goes on well and gives a lovely wash of colour which isn’t too bold. I’d definitely say this could be one for ladies wanting to dip their toe into the red lip world.
The only downside to this is I find Candy Apple quite drying, I’m not sure why as the others I’ve tried are fab! Also the wear time isn’t fantastic, normal eating and drinking means this disappears pretty quickly.
I really like wearing this to work, it’s a hint of colour without me looking too dressed up. It feels a little bit more drying than the others that I own but I still like it. It’s perfect if you don’t want to look too made up or you’re a little shy of rocking a bold lip.
Revlon Lip Butters can be purchased from Boots stores and website and Superdrug stores and website for £7.99
