Now that we’re going into autumn, I’ve decided to have a bit of a clear out and pick up some new beauty items.
Both my mascaras and my eyeliner have gone a bit dry so I’m chucking them out in favour of some new ones. I really want to try out the new Maxfactor Voluptous False Lash Effect Mascara. I generally like Maxfactor mascaras and I don’t really want to spend a lot on a mascara so if I can get a good one for under a tenner then I’m on to a winner.
I’ve not been wearing eyeliner much recently although I want to start again and the Benefit ‘They’re Real’ liner I’m currently using is beyond useless. The Illamasqua gel liner I normally buy is a little bit expensive for me considering I don’t use it all that often so I’m going to go down the route of pen type eyeliners, and I’ve heard the Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner is fab.
One of my repurchased items, I’ve been running on empty with my Nars Creamy Concealer for a couple of months now, trying to get the last remnants of it out so I think it’s about time I got some more.
I’ve also got my eye on a couple of books, as I’m trying to get back into reading a little more. First on my list is The Little Book of Hygge which is sure to be a bestseller this Autumn. It’s all about being cosy and happy and to be honest I could do with a little happiness right now with the nights drawing in.
Next is The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a Fuck. I am definitely a person that cares too much and agonises over things I really shouldn’t and with my anxiety going through the roof at the moment I definitely think this might help.
And finally one of my wishlists would not be complete without something from Lush being on the list. I’ve just about ran out of my Mask of Magnaminty Face Mask and I’ve been pretty impressed with it so I definitely want to try out more in the range. With that in mind I want to give the Catastrophe Cosmetic Face Mask a go.
Also how good does this Lava Lamp Bath Bomb look?? I pretty much love all Lush’s bath offerings so this is next on my list…before the Halloween and Christmas ones come out again of course.
