Yankee Candle -Fluffy Towels

Yankee Candle - Fluffy towels

I love Yankee Candles, but like many people, I find them extortionately expensive and only use them on special occasions…well mostly. However over the summer when I was in the glorious land of Kent I took a trip to the Ashford Outlet centre and was so happy to find a Yankee Candle store there.

Overwhelmed with choice, I started with the scents I thought I’d like most, Clean Cotton or Baby Powder. I’m not a big fan of overly strong or sweet scents so I finally settled on Fluffy Towels.

It is described as the fresh scent of clean towels warm from the dryer with notes of lemon, apple, lavender and lily. To be honest, they have the description SPOT ON. Smelling this immediately evokes the memories of taking the towels and bedding out of the dryer, warm in my arms and the smell of the clean laundry filling my nose.

It’s also long lasting at an approximate burn time of 95 hours. I’ve already burnt it for about 10 and it’s barely made a dent in it, which does make it worth the money.

The scent isn’t as nice as I expected when it’s burning so I don’t think I will repurchase, however I will definitely be purchasing similar candles from Yankee Candle.

Yankee candles can be purchased here for prices starting at Β£1.25
